08/18/2009: Restructuring of CSAV Group services covering the trade between South America East Coast and North America East Coast - 08/19/09

Following our recent announcements regarding a restructuring of CSAV Group services covering the trade between South America East Coast and North America East Coast, we are glad to announce another new partnership (in this case with Mediterranean Shipping Co.), for the joint operation of a service in above mentioned trade.

This new partnership, which CSAV will name ‘Tango Sling 2’ service, will deploy 2 (two) CSAV operated vessels (currently affected to our ‘Usatlan’), into current Mediterranean Shipping Co. ‘ECSA I’ service (MSC at their time shall provide the remaining 6 (six) vessels).

Nominal capacity shall range 3000-4500 Teus each vessel on a weekly schedule operating as per following rotation: Freeport / Charleston / Norfolk / New York / Baltimore / Savannah / Freeport / Caucedo / Santos / Buenos Aires / Montevideo / Rio Grande / Sao Francisco / Santos / Rio de Janeiro / Suape / Caucedo / Freeport.

Tango Sling 2 service is scheduled to commence (subject to FMC approval) with MV Csav Rauten ETA New York 04/september/2009.

We are confident that this new partnership will enable a regular wider coverage in accordance to market demands, allowing an efficient long-term operation.
